Web designer joins in the fun.
As part of the process of design (well that was his excuse) our web designer joined us for a day of flight simulation at Bournemouth and Southampton. Having been a fan of Microsoft Flight Simulator for some years and a PPL holder he was keen to try the real flight simulators. He recounts his experience below.

As has been said I was a fan of Microsoft Flight Simulator right from the start and had put together a good home simulator for the 737/747. Of course flying for real in light aviation is something else so how would full size simulation live up to either of these activities?
As it turned out it was a fantastic day, even just being there while others flew the various aircraft available on the day was a treat. When I did get a chance to fly the Airbus 320 with full motion, high winds and turbulence, no flight director and no ILS (thanks alot guys!) I was only saved from total destruction because I did get the chance to study everyone elses flight first. The landing might have bent something but at least it stayed on the runway!
